ART PARIS 2025 - GRAND PALAIS - PARIS

2025, April 3 to 6

The Barbara collection, born of the collaboration between Duvivier Canapés and architect and designer Jean-Philippe NUEL, stands out for its pure design, combining curves and generous volumes for aesthetic comfort.

With a history spanning almost two centuries, Duvivier Canapés is the first furniture company to be awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, continuing its mission to promote French decorative arts.

From April 3 to 6, 2025, in the heart of the Grand Palais, Duvivier Canapés presents an exclusive collection where exceptional craftsmanship meets contemporary artistic expression.

The Barbara armchair is reinterpreted by visual artist Pauline ANGOTTI. This unique piece embodies the encounter between Duvivier Canapés' expertise and a bold artistic vision.

The knotted silk and ropes that sculpt the volume evoke the refined aesthetics of Japanese SHIBARI. Combined with the artist's precious embroidery, they transform this piece into a truly unique work of art.

An invitation to rediscover sitting in a new way, between craftsmanship and contemporary gesture.
